wild flowers
A photo collection of the wild flowers in and around our garden, and on nearby walks. Names written [like this] are the ones we have given them as they seem to have no common name. We will try, at some point, to name them all…

First appearing late winter:

linaria polygalifolia a yellow version which is usually only found along the coast and sand dunes…

large meditteranean spurge and field marigold
The gorse, of course, can be seen in flower most of the year. Apparently, it makes a lovely summer cordial with a taste of coconut, something to try!
